Now don’t look at this as a replacement for coleslaw (we still love the traditional. We thought about making this look a little bit more like your standard Greek salad, what with adding cucumbers or tomatoes, but figured it wouldn’t really be much of a coleslaw if we did that…so we made our main focus the dressing, keeping it as close to a Greek dressing as possible

Cakes, Puddings and Mincemeat with Tropical Fruits. As well as the two pudding recipes I’ve shared above, there are lots of cake recipes to share at this time of year too……but before I share my more traditional cakes, I’d like to offer you a fabulous and fruity alternative for this year, a cake made with naturally dried tropical fruits, and one that is gluten-free too

Most recently I’ve been playing around with adding pickled courgettes / zucchini / baby marrow and carrots over and above the usual cucumber and red onion to our pulled pork buns (replacing the coleslaw) and boerewors rolls (South African style hot dog – but made with beef/pork sausage)
