Add the beef to the onion and add the soya sauce and let fry till just brown. Now add the curry powder to the beef and add a little hot water at a time while mixing and it forms a paste

Thai Massaman Beef Curry. 700 g thick chunk of beef rump steak with fat on, thinly sliced against the grain. 2 c (500 ml) beef stock. Add remaining coconut milk, beef stock, tamarind paste and sugar and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes or until slightly reduced and full of flavour. Add the beef including the juices, 50 g peanuts and coriander and simmer for another 2-3 minutes – max. 700 g thick chunk of beef rump steak with fat on, thinly sliced against the grain. 2 c (500 ml) beef stock
This beef curry made with green chillies, masala and turmeric has a bit of a bite in its flavour and tastes decadent topped with coriander and served with steaming basmati rice
