Today I am sharing our wonderful, relaxed, dining experience at The Bakery at Jordan Wine. The menu changes frequently but a constant feature throughout the year, is the selection of platters to share
Seared beef tataki, tartar, avocado, chipotle, foie gras, pea, coriander. At some point I even apologised for whatever noises were escaping my mouth because I had no control over my reactions to what was happening in my mouth
The rice is delicatelyflavoured with whole cloves, but you could also try cinnamon as a substitute. When it comes to cooking and baking I'm definitely more of a "make it from scratch" type of cook
it's bursting with fresh flavours, leaves me feeling satisfied but not overfull and I need go no further than my back garden to gather some of the ingredients
If you're not a fan of fresh coriander feel free to leave it out, and if you like a little bit of heat I recommend adding a pinch of chilli flakes to your spice mix
We only received menus at the end of the meal so we never knew what was coming next and for some of the courses we did not receive the same plate which added to the element of surprise and that much more to taste
