Ingredients

  • 500 ml cream
  • 250 ml milk
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 200 g castor sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod, split, with seeds scraped out
  • 4 espresso shots (or 15 ml instant coffee powder dissolved in 90 ml hot water)
  • 80 g peanut brittle
  • 8 sugar cones
